Can a rock star handle reality? If Maggie Morgan hadn’t wanted to become a rock star but shot to fame as the lead singer of the Four Furies back in the 1970s, then she really hadn’t intended to become the owner of the Karma Community, a retreat center in the tiny town of New Elm in rural Wisconsin thirty years later. Especially when that retreat center had been run by her volatile ex-lover and bandmate, Aaron Fields. Especially when she had to sell a tell-all interview about her relationship with Aaron to pay for the property. Success can’t come soon enough. The business is blowing through money, Aaron and his young wife are expecting a baby, and Maggie is faced with making deep cuts in the Karma Community, threatening their way of life. So when Maggie is presented with an offer—make that offers—that capitalize on her Four Furies legacy, her judgment, independence, and resilience are put to the test.PRAISE FOR THE FOUR FURIES SERIES“A brilliantly crafted rock and roll epic filled with conflicted but sympathetic characters who draw you in to the point where you feel like you know them personally and share their feelings of past glories and present angst as they travel life’s twisting path.
