Paperback. THE DEEP CALL This book's purpose is to help readers understand the profound spiritual truths embedded in the connection between the deep call of the soul for God and Jesus' invitation to rest. It offers practical guidance on embracing this rest by surrendering our burdens to Christ and learning to live in His peace. This book aims to inspire those weary, burdened, and searching for a deeper connection with God, offering them a path to experience the rest that only Jesus can give-a rest that quiets the deepest cries of the soul. The phrase "deep calls unto deep" comes from Psalm 42:7 and speaks of a profound yearning, a longing of the soul to connect with the divine in a more intimate, meaningful way. It reflects the cry of a heart that feels overwhelmed by the storms of life, searching for the presence of God in the depths of personal turmoil or spiritual longing. This concept resonates deeply with the human condition, as we all experience moments of spiritual thirst and emotional exhaustion, crying out for something greater than ourselves.
