She has written more than 50 books for children that have been published by Kane Press. Barbara and her husband live in Cashmere, Washington. Cynthia Fisher is a graduate of the University of Maine. After attending the Art Institute of Boston she began her career in illustration. She is a former library director. Cynthia lives in Charlemont, Massachusetts, with her husband, Marcus, and their two children.
