In "Decorating Easy", Jane Cumberbatch presents her blueprint for a comfortable, easy-living, yet always stylish home that is practical and simple to maintain. Her approach to homemaking is about decorating simply, paring down and making the most of your space, without spending a fortune. The book details how to put an entire room together, from the basic architectural structure and use of space, through the furniture and fittings, down to the small but essential decorative finishes. The main body of the book, "Decorating Secrets", has complete schemes for every room in the house from the entrance to the garden. Each of the 60 schemes is illustrated with colour photographs taken in real homes and has detailed recipe-style instructions. Essential information is given on preparation work and other practical aspects of DIY that need to be considered, including: working up designs and sketches, putting together colour and pattern, working to a budget and the core decorators' tools needed to get the job done. There are features on the key areas that transform a room, from adequate storage in the kitchen to calming colour in the bedroom. A section with Twenty Things to Make and Do contains full instructions for a range of projects for stylish finishing touches, including decorative painting ideas, soft furnishings and home accessories to give a home its heart. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.…

Store description
In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
