Paperback. This book examines the contemporary social care realities and practices of Finland with a diversity of voices but also explores decolonial caring futurities. The editors approach the topic by critically unpacking colonial views of care and wellbeing. In this book, the authors represent practitioners, scholars, activists, community members and healers whose unique contribution and whose voices provide not only insights and critiques, but innovative social work epistemologies that envision and imagine decolonial outcomes that cross borders. This book examines the contemporary social care realities and practices of Finland, interrogating the country's coloniality, racialisation and diversity in the context of social work.
