Death does not always take what it is owed.
She has died more times than any mortal should survive. Fever. Drowning. Accidents. Blood in the snow. Each time, death reached for her-and each time, something in the dark pulled her back.
She thought it was luck. A miracle. A curse.
Then she meets him.
A shadowed man who appears when her life is slipping away. Ancient, dangerous, and bound to a secret he refuses to fully reveal, he does not simply save her from death. He breathes it into himself. Every ending meant for her becomes a wound he must carry. Every breath she keeps costs him more of his own existence.
But when the bond between them begins to change, something older and hungrier notices.
Bells ring beneath the city. Thresholds weaken. A ruthless enemy begins using her stolen deaths to open doors that should have remained sealed. And the man who has protected her for years may be the very one most likely to be destroyed by loving her.
As obsession deepens into something neither of them can control, she must uncover the truth behind the bond, the deaths he has carried, and the choice that could either save them both-or return every borrowed ending at once.
Dark, gothic, and emotionally intense, DEATHBOUND is a haunting romantasy of death magic, forbidden desire, sacrifice, and a love powerful enough to challenge the grave itself.
