The end is coming.
Langley, Oklahoma, has fallen. The once fortified town was blown to pieces by the mad General Hess and his R.U.S.T. army and left abandoned. Now it’s free for zombies to roam its deserted streets. Making good their escape during the battle between the dead and Hess’s forces, what’s left of the Screamin’ Mimi’s crew and the remainder of Langley’s residents flee south, hoping to reach the last haven of humanity east of the Rocky Mountains.
But everything they’ve lived through has just been a warm up for what’s to come. The shambling hordes grow more massive by the day, secessionist forces want to add them to their ranks, either as soldiers or breeding stock, and the General is determined to use every resource at his disposal to hunt them down. And to top everything off, it seems a certain crowbar-toting combat journalist and one blue-haired ninja girl died in their fall from the top of Pensacola Dam into the floodwaters eighty feet below.
Surviving the coming battle is a long shot at best, but the crew of the Mimi are used to bucking the odds. Maybe, just maybe, they’ve got one last fight in them. After all, during the zombie apocalypse the only certain things in life are...Death and Taxes.
“S.P. Durnin’s masterful storytelling and well developed characters pull you in from the first chapter, grabbing you by the throat and holding your attention to the very last sentence. Fiction this powerful is nothing short of addicting!”—Devan Sagliani, author of Undead L.A., and Zombie Attack!: Rise Of The Horde

About the Author
For over a decade, SP Durnin crisscrossed America seeking the perfect pint of Guinness, while developing a deep love/hate relationship with the idea of hungry, mobile corpses. Previously he was known to keep a morning-after backpack in the trunk of his car (for if he woke up in a strange place after a night out), but years ago, upgraded to a Bug-Out-Bag. Keep Your Crowbar Handy, Rotting To The Core, Assuming Room Temperature, and the final of the series Death And Taxes, are the first series set within his zombie-verse™.
SP resides in Ohio with his family, one mutant dog, and two very spoiled cats that he refers to as “the crazy, furry, stupid, little ninja” until the inevitable zombie apocalypse.
