States "Fourth printing June 1949." (The first three printings were all "before publication.") Someone has written the name "Arthur Miller" in dark blue fountain pen to the otherwise blank FFE. This appears to be a "live" signature (not offset-printed), but Miller signatures found online vary considerably and we are NOT sure this is an authentic author signature. (Please see our scan and feel free to compare to the many Miller signatures from this era easily found online.) Jacket not price clipped -- original $2.50 price showing. Jacket lists to front panel "Pulitzer Prize / Critics Circle Award / Antoinette Perry Award / Theatre Club Award / 'Front Page' Award." Cast list indicates the play opened at the Morosco Theatre in New York on Feb. 10, 1949, directed by Elia Kazan and starring Lee J.
