Undated "advance uncorrected proof" of Newman's first novel, eventually published in 1983. Unlike other ARCs of this book being offered elsewhere, this prepublication reading copy is a bound photoreproduction of Newman's manuscript with many handwritten corrections in the photocopy. Back cover shows some bumping and a small tear on the left edge, probably from having been jammed into a shelf improperly. A very interesting early state of this author's first Catherine LeVendeure medieval French mystery series. Seller Inventory # 002007
