Paperback. This bookabout writing and the imagination is essential reading for any writer, emergingor experienced. Re-released with new material and updated advice for the 21stcentury writer.'I first read DearWriter as a nervy, secretive scribbler-in-journals20 years ago. Reading this revised version I'mstruck again by its practical generosityon technical matters - but am also inspired by the deeper, more complex conversationsI thinkI missed nthose early readings: about courage, about theurgency and mystery and self-discovery ofthe writing process. Dear Writer Revisited may masquerade - convincingly - as a book for beginners, but itslessons are mature and wise.'- Charlotte Wood, The Writer's Room Interviews This bookabout writing and the imagination is essential reading for any writer, emergingor experienced.
