As women, we find ourselves wearing many hats and perhaps stretched too thin. Great expectations are placed on us by others and even ourselves. So much so, we are pushed to be better than the man-made standards in life. You may be the glue for family ties, problem-solver or decision-maker, the moral compass, advisor or counselor, mentor, strong enough for everyone, protector, more sensitive, earthly savior, and more. These are in addition to roles as mothers, wives, partners, sisters, friends, confidantes, businesswomen, leaders, organizers, sex symbols, beauty queen, critical thinkers, intuitive beings, the cook, and servant leaders; the list goes on.
Dear Sis: Letters to a Queen is a book of letters to all women described as sisters and queens followed by a few exercises for reflection. Every word is based on real-life and relatable situations and offers direction, hope, wisdom, lessons, prayer, celebration, and more.
