Otherwise, a very good copy of this rare collection of World War I letters. Not in OCLC. Handwritten note from editor Mary Stockwell to her granddaughter laid in. ~WW~ [2.0P] A collection of an American soldier's 1918-19 letters regarding his experiences in France during the American presence there in World War I. Gordon Wyatt Cameron (1895-1955) enlisted in the Army a few days after the U.S. entered Word War I in April of 1917, just after meeting Mary Windsor Crane, and immediately began sending Mary letters describing his experience in the 'war to end all wars.'
