- Book 2 of 3: Discovering Chris Watts
In this series, I examine the case in detail, peeling back the layers of deception to explore the truth that shocked the world. From the crime scene to the police interviews, I look closely at the evidence, the contradictions, and the disturbing behaviour of a man who, beneath the image of husband and father, was hiding something far darker.
This book follows the heart-wrenching investigation as Chris Watts’ confessions unfold, along with the questions surrounding his motives and the brutal deaths of his pregnant wife, Shanann, and their two little girls, Bella and Celeste. The search for truth leads through the initial inquiry, the mounting suspicions, and the devastating discovery of Shanann, Bella, CeCe, and baby Nico’s bodies.
Using full, word-for-word transcripts of actual video and audio footage taken from the FBI Discovery Files, this series places the reader inside the unsettling reality of the case and the events that gripped the world in August 2018.
Join me as I confront an unthinkable tragedy and examine the painful questions it left behind. How well can we ever truly know the people closest to us? And what happens when the person trusted most becomes the greatest threat?
A must-read for fans of Gregg Olsen.
Please note: I have studied this case extensively, often into the early hours, painstakingly transcribing the available evidence. However, if you have already read the discovery files in full, this series of books may not be for you.
