Hunting nightcrawlers in the dark is part of the fishing adventure for five-year-old Billy. He and his dad adventured into the darkness on his first fishing trip-eve. They had no weapons. The only thing Billy carried was a flashlight and a can half-filled with moist dirt. Light exposes nightcrawlers-what a great metaphor. Billy has no clue what a principle is, but someday he will. In the not-too-distant future, he will read: Light expels darkness. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it. John 1:5 Dr. Fix has placed gems, principles, and riveting truths in this captivating book. The chapters are easy to read, and the facts presented are interesting to ponder. The Dead-End Road Devotional is great for a group or stand-alone read. There are beta-reader comments and thought-provoking questions at the end of each chapter. Pastor Dr. Bill Fix draws on forty-plus years of ministry experience, and thousands of people have benefitted from his life-changing and inspirational advice. His experiences as a dad, pastor, author, officiant, entertainer, and Adhoc Professor, provide an inspiring collection of life principles for you to discover in his book. This author artfully uses simple metaphors to illustrate eternal truth. Pastor Bill Fix examines some of the most pivotal transitional times in life. If followed, his advice will help the reader overcome obstacles, reduce stress, and deal with anxiety caused by change.
