Gilt decorations are very clean and bright to front but a little dull and faded to the spine. bumped to top edge of both boards. Cloth binding is very clean. Some wear to head of spine and a split in cloth to rear external hinge about 2.5 inches long. Dark green endpapers are sound to hinge but have faint traces of previous ex libris label and other minor marks. Hint of foxing to prelims and occasional page margin. Good+, sound copy.
