For each day of the calendar, this unique work details events that have significantly affected American network radio since the mid-1920s. Entries recount occasions, practices, or decisions which left indelible marks on broadcasting (listed by date of occurrence); the debuts and cancellations of programs; and births and deaths of important people in radio history--not only headliners but also less recognized individuals, from radio executives and producers to writers, sound techs, engineers, consultants, hawkers and impersonators.
