Worn, full leather covers. Some cracking along outside of hinges. Some holes in the leather (small one on front, larger ones on back). Some corners bumped, others chipped. Original red leather spine label with gilt title, spine ends chipped, small very old sticker on spine. One old owner name inside front cover, other on free end paper. Pages lightly to moderately browned, some foxing (very little for age of book). Some damp stain. Overall pages very good for age of book. Howgill was leader of the separatist group in his county before the whole group was converted by Fox. He was imprisoned in 1652 and again for the last five years of his life.
