About this Item

The book is bound in red cloth with Bacharach plate inlaid on the front cover. Plate is rubbed near the top corner of the front cover. Illustrated endpapers. The first two leaves have soft ripple as if there had been a paper clip there at one time. Otherwise, pages are lightly tanned, clean, smooth and unmarked. Includes six full color, full page plates by American illustrator Charles I. Bacharach in beautiful condition, and retains the original text and the illustrations by American illustrator E. B. Bensell. The dust jacket in FIne condition has the original price on the front flap and is in a clear protective cover. Please see all images.
