In overall very good condition, embossed red cloth boards with black decoration and tipped-in coloured plate to front board, are faded to spine and with a few minor signs of shelfwear to edges. Binding tight and square, no annotations or inscriptions - period presentation bookplate to ffep (1st Prize award 1928). Slight tanning to end-papers and page-ends a little marked but text and coloured plates clean and clear throughout. A charming, well-preserved copy.
