When Claire Adams receives a package days after her mother's suspicious death, it contains a journal, a childhood photo, and one word written in her mother's desperate hand: Beware.
Her mother wasn't paranoid. She was right.
For decades, Helen Adams was Subject #07 held captive by a secret organization conducting genetic experiments on women carrying an ancient bloodline. A bloodline Claire now knows she inherited.
- They called Helen a test subject.
- They call Claire the convergence.
- And they've been watching her since birth.
With her abilities awakening and time running out, Claire must expose The Nest's decades of crimes before she becomes their next and final experiment. But the deeper she digs into her family's past, the more she realizes: some gifts are also curses.
And The Nest never lets go.
