This VG+ quality book was published in 1937 by the Saalfield Publishing Company. It is 7-5/8" tall and has 168 numbered pages. It is square, extremely clean, completely free edge dings with both top corners very lightly bumped; the head and heel of the spine are barely bumped and are not damaged. The bottom edges and lower front corners have very little wear. The exterior is almost pristine--it has very little wear or soiling. Except for a penciled 1937 inscription on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. Both hinges are strong and not damaged. The frontis on plain paper is the only illustration. The paper, including the end pages, is very toned and a bit stiff but still somewhat flexible. The VG- jacket is reasonably clean and has tiny chips at both top corners and the heel of the spine, with a larger chip at the head of the spine; there is wear with color loss--but not any tears--along the front fold and along the rear gutter ridge; the spine is moderately soiled.
