Newly crowned King and Queen, Michael and Sarah Kent-Hughes are ready to get down to business, serving the people of the United Kingdom to the best of their abilities. Unknown to them, looming scandals in the Church of England and beyond are about to begin a cascade of events that threaten to destroy the Church, their family and society's ability to function. Michael, Sarah and those closest to them will be forced to confront destructive and predatory sins in an attempt to save the Church and the future of the country.
What readers said about Dancing Priest (Book 1):
"I found myself not wanting it to end. There was so much imagery and amazing detail in the story. As an artist I was amazed at how accurately he understood us. "
"At least a dozen times, I had to stop reading for a moment to control tears. The story is that gripping, that real."
"When I read Dancing Priest I was immediately captured by the breadth of Glynn's story. It was, at the same time, an action story; a love story; a story about spiritual struggles; and a story about one man who believes he can make a difference."
And A Light Shining (Book 2):
"It turns suspenseful and heartwarming. A Light Shining has all the qualities of those classic tales that stay with you for the long journey. These characters become friends and fellow sojourners ... making their way into a reader's heart and encouraging a deeper faith--one that has hands and feet. We all need such role models as Michael and Sarah-Kent Hughes."
"Read A Light Shining any way you can: Kindle, Nook, paper. Be prepared to leave long blocks of time to read. Guaranteed. Be prepared to be captured with this story. I found myself going through a range of emotions as I read, yes even tears."
"Yes, the same characters from Dancing Priest are here and some fascinating new ones, too. Yes, there are glimpses into Michael's everyday life as an Anglican priest. But from the very first sentence, you know that we are most definitely not in Kansas anymore. There is something ominous afoot, a threat that hangs heavy over every page."
And Dancing King (Book 3):
"It is such a joy to be back in this world, which is so well-rendered it could qualify as alternate history. And no one writes a crowd scene like Glynn Young! - Megan Willome, author of The Joy of Poetry
"Young is a masterful storyteller whose charcters don't remain people on a page, but become friends for life." - Martha Orlando, author of The Glade series
"I couldn't put it down." - Cindee S. Re, author of Finding Purpose: Finding Meaning in Life with Chronic Illness
"Themes of redemption, restoration, courage, and community run deep through the lines of Dancing King. Once again, Glynn Young exceeds readers' hopes, showing a main character in Michael Kent who continues to mature in his faith and leadership." - Luke Davis, author of the Cameron Ballack mysteries
