Will forgiveness redeem?
Perfect for fans of Twilight and The Cruel Prince, M.C. Ryder continues her spellbinding young adult urban fantasy series in this second novel. Exploring modern themes in the paranormal world of vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, and magic, this supernatural coming-of-age epic fulfills a destiny and brings a satisfying ending for the mythical warriors engaged in a battle of good vs evil. Or is it the end?
Amelia is a teenager in a dysfunctional home. With her father dead and her selfish mother making her life miserable, she welcomed the opportunity to break the chains of her old life and enter the mysterious world she finds herself in. But she has a secret nearly lost to time, and while being tutored by a wise practitioner and manipulated by dark forces, she learns to dance between light and darkness.
The suspenseful werewolf-and-vampire saga continues in M.C. Ryder's A Dance Between Light and Darkness. An excitingly dark and brooding mystery." -- Explore Authors Magazine
The war may be over—but darkness never stays buried for long.
The prophecy of the Dragon’s Eye has been fulfilled. Vladimir is dead. The fighting has ended. And after generations of bloodshed, vampires and werewolves finally have a chance to build something neither side believed possible: peace.
But victory came at a devastating cost.
Still grieving the woman he loved, Vince is forced into a future he never wanted—as the new leader of the vampires. His enemies expect strength. His allies demand answers. And somewhere beneath it all, Vince carries a terrifying secret: the greatest threat to everything they fought for may already be inside him.
Inherited from his father, a darkness runs through Vince’s blood—an ancient evil he fears could turn him from the man destined to unite old enemies into the monster who destroys them.
Then the bodies begin to appear. Each victim bears the unmistakable symbol of the Dragon’s Eye.
Someone is sending a message.
As fear spreads and the fragile alliance between vampires and werewolves begins to fracture, Vince is pulled into a deadly mystery that threatens to reignite an ancient war. But the killer in the shadows isn’t his only problem. Someone from Vince’s past has returned with a score to settle, and a sinister new enemy is preparing to exploit every weakness he has.
To protect the peace, Vince must confront enemies old and new while battling the darkness growing within himself. Because if he loses control, the blood spilled in the last war may have been only the beginning.
Can Vince become the leader his people need—or has his destiny already been written in blood?
Packed with vampires, werewolves, supernatural intrigue, deadly secrets, ancient rivalries, revenge, and dark prophecy, this gripping urban fantasy plunges readers into a world where peace is fragile, loyalty is dangerous, and the greatest monsters may be the ones hiding within.
"Between Light and Darkness serves as an exceptional continuation, skillfully building upon the strengths of its predecessor while charting new and captivating territory for both the world and its inhabitants. It generates heightened anticipation for the forthcoming third installment, making it an unequivocal recommendation for enthusiasts of urban fantasy." -- Literary Titan
"...a world where themes of redemption, unity, and self-discovery take center stage, making "A Dance Between Light and Darkness" a must-read for fans of both fantasy and character-driven stories." -- Discourse
The prophecy has been fulfilled. The war has ended. Now the real fight begins. Enter the darkness and discover whether Vince will become the savior of two worlds—or the force that finally tears them apart.
