Thirty years ago, Operation Meridian was celebrated as a triumph. Now one of its witnesses is dead, another has been murdered, and the case is beginning to come apart.
Retired U.S. Marshal Caleb Boudreaux knows the victim. He also knows there are things about Meridian he should have questioned when he had the chance.
When he calls Dallas Armstrong to New Orleans, Dallas expects an old murder with old grudges behind it. Instead, he and FBI investigator Emma Calder uncover something far more dangerous: altered evidence, frightened witnesses, missing records and a conviction that may have destroyed the wrong man’s life.
Marcus Delaney served twenty six years in prison.
Now the people who helped put him there are being forced to confront what really happened.
But someone else has been following the same trail, and they are willing to kill to control how the truth finally comes out.
Set against the rain slicked streets, music and shadows of New Orleans, Ghosts of Bourbon Street is a fast paced, character driven thriller about loyalty, guilt, consequence and the cost of staying silent too long.
Book Two of the Dallas Armstrong Series. Each novel can be read as a standalone thriller.
