When Pearl the rabbit goes missing from a country farmhouse, Daisy Dolittle - animal whisperer extraordinaire - is on the case!
Daisy Dolittle is an independent-minded 10-year-old girl with a love of animals and a magical secret - she has the incredible ability to speak to animals! Inherited from her great-great-great-grandfather, Doctor Dolittle (ever heard of him?), this talent makes her a friend to cuddly creatures of all sizes. Not only that ... it also makes her a fantastic detective! Whenever an animal is in danger or needs rescuing, Daisy is sure to be on the case.
Daisy's glamorous movie-star mother takes her all around the world and in this third adventure Daisy is staying in a countryside farmhouse, which just so happens to be home to some cuddly creatures! But when Pearl the rabbit goes missing, Daisy has to put on her detective's hat to find her. Can our brave heroine and her animal friends solve the mystery?
DAISY DOLITTLE
If you love adventure stories and cute animals, then Daisy's your girl! She gets up to all sorts of hijinks - foiling dognappers in Paris, thwarting animal smugglers in Australia, rescuing otters, and more. Her stories are packed with Melody Lockhart's trademark mixture of dynamic action, snappy humor, and heartfelt emotion. It showcases the wonderful artwork of Anuki Lopez and is perfect for children aged 7+.
