8vo 8" - 9" tall; 32 pages; 1948 MacRae Smith. HC/DJ Printing not stated. Snugly bound and neat in original color pictorial dust jacket from art by Kurt Wiese and with $2.00 issue price intact to unclipped front flap. A really very handsome copy save for a binder's flaw visible to the gutters of the lining pages. It appears the binder's glue was too thin or perhaps applied too liberally. Offset damp like line in the gutters of the endpages, but no damp evidence to the boards, the jacket or any internal pages. Contents bright and fresh; no marks. Cloth a trifle toned at spine; trace foxing to rear jacket flap. Illustrated handsomely by Kurt Wiese. VG+/VG++.
