No date, but no later than 1909, Hurst and Co. (NY), true miniature, 2 1/8 x 2 5/8 inches tall embossed orange cloth hardbound, gilt title and design to spine, 191 pp. Covers faded, stained and edgeworn. Prior owner name to front pastedown, dated Christmas 1909. Staining to pastedowns and endpapers. Occasional minor staining or creased page tip. Otherwise, a very good copy, with solid binding. A copy in the University of Virginia's renowned McGehee Lindemann Miniature Book Collection is dated by the curator at 1876, and while Hurst and Co. was founded in 1871, this miniature children's series is more likely circa turn-of-the-century. Contains brief quotes from Scripture for every day of the year.
