This is the sequel to Dahlin His Journey, which told the story of his healing and intuitive abilities, and to bring forgiveness to his enemy. 

In this story, Dahlin sets forth to rescue his people from the cruel enslavement by the Gallen people. But first, he has to find those who escaped capture and return them to their village of Havene.

He then sets forth on a perilous journey through the Oasis Desert with his companions, his horse, Quaesitor, his wolf, Nobilus, and his raven, Felix.

Finally, they come face to face with King Nabastian of Gallenation to demand the release of his people.
