FIRST EDITION OF THIS TRANSLATION. 8vo. 5.75 x 8.75 inches. viii + 80 pp. Bound in original green cloth, gilt in dust wrapper which has sunned spine and some foxing and staining. Water stain on boards largely confined to rear with a little on lower fore edge and slight foxing; otherwise a very good copy. The first translation of Über den Traum since 1914. This short study was written by Freud just a year after the publication of his great work on The Interpretation of Dreams and was essentially a summary of it for the general reader.
