48 pages plus cover. Large staple-bound paperback; H 28cm x L 21.5cm. Green paper covers rubbed, strong creases to rear cover with old price sticker partially peeled from top right corner. Interior pages are clean and binding is firm. A good+ copy of an uncommon publication examining military-themed art produced in Alaska during WWII. Foreword by Patricia B. Wolf; b/w and color illustrations. Published as the accompanying catalog for a touring exhibition held at the Anchorage Museum of History and Art from June 8 to September 2, 1989, the Alaska State Museum at Juneau from September 15 to October 31, 1989, the University of Alaska Museum at Fairbanks from February 3 to March 11, 1990, and at the Valdez Heritage Center from April 9 to May 16, 1990.
