Dive into local life at the traditional fishing port of Killybegs, stroll the historic lanes of Donegal Town, or explore the artistic heart of Ardara, famed for its tweed heritage and lively festivals.
Richly illustrated and grounded in local knowledge, the guide delves into the culture, folklore, and history that shape Donegal’s identity. It features insightful profiles of the region’s museums, castles, ancient sites, and sacred landscapes—from the prehistoric Grianán of Aileach to the poignant ruins of Dunlewey Church near the haunting Poison Glen.
