Item description from seller

Third edition (printed same year as the first), with author's note at rear. 8vo. 96 pp. Original printed wrappers (spine beginning to erode, some storage soiling, text block uniformly browned). Mitchell, President of the Third National Bank in Chattanooga, points out errors in the "free silver movement." The work sold over 150,000 copies and was widely quoted in the 1896 Presidential campaign between McKinley and William Jennings Bryan. All 1895 printings are uncommon. Good solid copy and much better than usually encountered for this poorly produced work.
