SECOND EDITION 1828. 8vo, approximately 220 x 130 mm, 8½ x 5 inches, 1 folding map and 3 engraved plates, pages: xxviii, 1-235, lacks half-title, contemporary calf, rebacked keeping the original gilt lettered labels, gilt rules to spine and double gilt rules to edges of covers. Slight darkening and slight shelf wear to edges of covers, slight shelf wear to corners, pale brown offset to most of folding map, offset from plates to facing page, all plates have a small stain to top margin, not affecting images, 4 pages have brown stains (see attached images), pale browning to pastedowns, occasional fox spot to margins, small ink name to first pastedown, a good copy.
