This innovative book explores the essential and indispensable capabilities needed to enhance and scale enterprise AI strategies and investments. It emphasizes and explains why digital resilience is critical to augmenting, monetizing, and scaling disruptive technologies as integrated innovations from the core of the business.
The author explores in this book how a composable strategy can help enterprises succeed in the age of Generative AI and ever faster advancing disruptive technologies. He provides a framework and toolbox based on best-practices implementations, combining foundational theory with real experience and transforming a dysfunctional IT landscape into an EMEA award-winning digital infrastructure. This comprehensive story includes practical examples and advice on how to increase the chances of successful digital transformations.
The core lessons center around:
- The concept of organizational ambidexterity is the ability to balance legacy and exploitation with innovation and exploration in a new and unified approach.
- The necessity of an enterprise platform engineering strategy to facilitate modern business-driven transformations in evolutionary ways.
- The ability to augment and scale digital disruptive technologies, such as Generative AI, by augmenting new tech into an adaptable and resilient digital infrastructure.
- The need for a new digital investment strategy to maximize the scalable effects of technology investments and innovations.
- The demand for new technology leadership to enable resilient and lasting transformations from the core of the business.
Organizations can significantly streamline large-scale system upgrades by prioritizing a digital composable strategy. This approach involves integrating modular components into a flexible digital infrastructure through targeted and often scalable investments. Digital composability accelerates implementation, enhances system resilience, and reduces overall costs. Ultimately, composable enterprises gain a competitive edge by driving business change, digital transformation, and innovation within their core business.
