Introduction by the author, Leo Gordon, editor of CONTACT , "the publication which presents correspondence, case histories and comment on the subjects of discipline and corrective treatment." This work of flagellation fiction (birching, paddling, bondage, caning) is ostensibly a journal kept in mid-Victorian times, written by "Mary"; it begins "My First Entry: Though I was not happy at the orphanage - for they could be very cruel - at least I was grateful for one thing. That is they taught me to write." Following entry is dated February 2nd, 1862. Stamp of Amsterdam's Sexshop Pigalle is on inside front cover; logo printed on back cover. Illustrated cardstock wraps; some spotting and creasing to covers; internally clean. Good+.
