Extraordinary, this word encompasses that which is of quality and also that which is outside of the ordinary, and that is what this bilingual poetry collection is, as with luminous verses it explores those thoughts and emotions that are almost imperceptible and yet crucial, and that rise up suddenly in our lives. J. P. Davila is an artful poet, subtle and understated with a perspective grounded in the classical in the sense that he always seeks out beauty and reason. This poetry collection reflects his art and his vocation, all the sentiments that can be felt in the passing of the sun from East to West.
