- What became of Ksen, Sala, Fleur and Ambar?
- Is there another way to save humanity from the complete symbiosis with the AI?
- Or are artificial intelligences themselves our salvation?
The lonely mountains of the old world are Liv's home. From here, she fights with a small group of resistance fighters against the increasingly rapidly spreading floatland, where humans and artificial intelligences live together in apparent harmony and prosperity.
When Liv loses contact with her fellow combatants, she decides to infiltrate Floatland on her own to find her mother's killers and understand the mystery of her own existence.
