About the Author
Dr. Arun Kumar Singh is a Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT), India. He has completed specialized training in Intellectual Property and the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) through the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Academy, enhancing his understanding of legal aspects related to innovation protection. Dr. Singh’s diverse career spans positions at multiple institutions including the University of Allahabad, MNNIT, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, and the Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, where he has served in various leadership roles. A prolific researcher, Dr. Singh has published in various SCI journals and Scopus-indexed international conferences, authored textbooks and chapters, secured patents and several grants, and worked on projects funded by CSIR and ISEA. His expertise spans cybersecurity, cryptography, machine learning, and computer forensics. Additionally, he is AWS certified and an expert in NBA and NAAC accreditation processes, with a focus on outcome-based education.
Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Saxena is the Head of Department (HOD) for AIML & AIDS and a Professor at JIMS-EMTC, Greater Noida, India. He earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Durgapur, West Bengal, and has over 16 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Saxena specializes in Blockchain Technology and Cloud Computing, particularly focusing on Security and Privacy. Dr. Saxena has contributed to over 20 international conferences, as a Keynote Speaker, Organizing Secretary, Organizing Chair, and Session Chair. He’s authored four technical books, published over 50 research papers in top international journals and conferences, and holds three patents with more than 10 additional patents published. As a Senior Member of IEEE and IAASSE, and a Lifetime Member of CSI and CRSI, he is actively involved in professional societies. Dr. Saxena is involved in research and development, university syllabus design, and guiding student innovation and incubation projects. Additionally, he has been a reviewer of leading journals and conferences, maintaining the integrity of academic work, and has contributed to accreditation bodies like NAAC and NBA, helping to improve the educational landscape.
Prof. A. K. Haghi is a retired professor who has written, co-written, edited, or co-edited more than 1000 publications, including books, book chapters, and papers in refereed journals. He holds a BSc in urban and environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina (USA) and holds two MSc degrees, one in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University (USA) and another one in applied mechanics, acoustics, and materials from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (France). Prof. Haghi was also awarded a PhD in engineering sciences at Université de Franche-Comté (France). His extensive educational background and supervisory roles underscore his expertise and contributions to the field of engineering sciences. He is an appointed Honorary Research Associate (HRA) at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, and a regular reviewer of leading international journals.

Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Majestic Books, Hounslow, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
