This 8.75 x 11.0, 176 page book is the stated first edition of this book. The book itself is in near fine condition with the brown cloth boards clean and unsoiled, and only one very modest bump to a lower front corner. The dust wrapper is in very good condition with edge wear apparent and one half-inch tear to the back panel, but overall - - the jacket is clean and secure. The book's text is in clearly near fine condition or better with really no apparent time wear or damage. Surely the book's most engaging quality is the reprinting of Edward Curtis' important and striking photographs of American Indians across the North American continent.
