Are you looking for a fun workbook to help you teach your child to write in cursive? Then you are in the right place! Take your child on an exciting journey through the entire ABC with: Cursive Handwriting Practice Book For Kids: Cursive Tracing Workbook For 2nd 3rd 4th And 5th Graders To Practice Letters, Words & Sentences In Cursive. 100+ Pages Of Exercises Inside!
Learning cursive handwriting in children offers numerous benefits to a child’s brain development. It stimulates regions in the brain, such as areas of thinking, language, and working memory. It can also help with one’s writing speed, legibility, and spelling words. Cursive encourages a child to visualize each letter as a united word, which makes it easier to remember or memorize the words they are writing or forming.
As your child learns with each letter – whether easy or challenging – he or she will gradually develop the skills needed to write even tricky letters in cursive with confidence. The learning process must be lined with as many successes as possible to boost your child’s motivation to learn. This book, therefore, proceeds step by step. The individual lower and upper case letters – from A to Z – and words containing the letter are presented one after the other. Ideally, the next letter should be started when the previous one has already been memorized. For this reason, learning each one is divided into three simple steps, which are clearly separated from each other.
- Tracing Every letter is a new territory for your child. The first step is to get to know the letter and practice through the correct pen guidance by simply tracing it. If your child is still struggling after the first pass, the process can easily be repeated with a new pen in a different color.
- Add Word This is followed by a word containing the letter you have just learned. So your child learns to put the letter in a word. Encourage your child to read the word aloud - this will directly practice the corresponding sound.
- Independent writing Finally, your child is ready to write in cursive freely and without pre-drawn lines. Of course, auxiliary lines are provided to help you place the letter at the correct height.
By completing this exercise book, your child will be able to write the lower and upper case letters from A to Z in cursive form. It is especially important that your child can work and learn at their own pace. This is the only way to keep the fun and become more confident in cursive writing from letter to letter.
