The crown chose a king. Then it marked the mortal woman who could destroy him.
Wren Marlowe survived one season in the fae realm. She saved her brother, honored a dangerous bargain, and did the impossible: she won the heart of Prince Kael Ashenfell.
But love does not make the Autumn Court safe.
When Kael’s coronation ignites ancient magic, the crown does not simply accept him. It brands Wren with fire and shadow, marking her before the entire court as the legendary “True Threat”, the mortal who may unmake a king. In a single moment, Wren becomes more than Kael’s weakness. She becomes a prophecy, a target, and the most valuable piece in a deadly political game.
To protect her, Kael makes a dangerous move: he announces his intention to betroth her before the full court. But the declaration only sharpens the knives. Noble houses begin circling. Assassins strike from the shadows. Old treaties resurface. And Wren quickly learns that if she wants to survive as a future queen, she cannot remain protected behind palace doors. She must learn court law, wield the strange magic burning beneath her skin, and become dangerous enough that even immortals think twice before touching her.
As desire deepens into devotion and court politics turn lethal, Wren and Kael must decide how much they are willing to risk for a future neither tradition nor prophecy will allow.
Because the curse was never meant only to threaten a king.
It was meant to choose a queen.
Cursed Crown, Kiss of Fire is a lush fae fantasy romance filled with dangerous court politics, forbidden power, high-stakes devotion, and a mortal heroine who refuses to be anyone’s pawn.
