Napisano 1928, a po zelji autora objavljeno tek posle njegove smrti (1929), ovo Rajsovo zavestanje i danas pleni svojom iskrenoscu, preciznoscu i dobronamernoscu.-----A forensic pioneer and friend of Serbia, Rudolf A. Reiss wrote Hear Me, Serbs! as a testament: praise where it is due, and courage to confront what needs to change. Having witnessed the bravery of Serbian soldiers in the Great War, he turns-calmly, directly-to the society that emerged after it. The result is an unsentimental moral inventory of virtues to guard and weaknesses to address, written with candor that still feels fresh. This modern edition invites contemporary readers to engage a classic of public conscience: a call to responsibility, dignity, and civic maturity. It's both a historical document and a living mirror. Written with clarity and restraint, this edition favors character and mood over plot summary, so shoppers get the feel without spoilers. It is presented in a modern, accessible way for new readers.
