Welcome to the world of cryptocurrency!
Cryptocurrency is still an emerging topic, and there is a lot of
misinformation out there. This book will set you on your way to become a confident investor in cryptocurrencies. This book is dedicated to long-term investment and realistic trading goals. If you're looking to get rich quick by promoting an obscure altcoin on social media, this might be the wrong book for you. The next step for you will be to decide what kind of investor you want to be.
What is cryptocurrency? Why should you buy it?! Which coin should you invest in? What about mining!? All of these questions and more will be answered in this book. The goal is to become an informed investor (or trader).
Note: Cryptocurrencies are here to stay, which means blockchain technology is as well! Blockchain technology will change the world as we know it. It can be difficult to keep up with what you need to know about cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, Ethereum and altcoins because of all the noise out there. The goal of this book is to cut the noise and lift the veil of mystery surrounding this new asset class. We will provide you with information that is not readily available on your own if you don't know where to look for it, or worse yet, incorrect information.
Before we start, a few words on the author. My name is Dillon Samuel and I am a cryptocurrency investor, enthusiast and writer. I started writing this book because of my passion for the topic. In fact, I have been investing in cryptocurrency for a few years now and have had a lot of success with my investments. However, in my opinion it is important to keep it cool and levelheaded.
What I want to do is help new investors make informed decisions and therefore avoid pitfalls. It's a wild world out there, but one with a lot of opportunity. Just remember, it goes both ways - don't buy meme coins at alltime highs and do your own research before investing in anything. The cryptocurrency market is still very active and developing and it is operational around the clock, seven days a week. This means that you will face rapid developments in this market and you will face different obstacles to overcome. You need to evolve together with the market in order to keep up with these advancements. It is vital that you stay abreast of the news and follow the market closely, as well as follow the upcoming trends in this market. You will need to be alert because developments can happen overnight.
As a new investor starting out with cryptocurrency investment, I remember how confused I was when I first started out. I felt like a fish out of water, trying to swim upstream in the river only to be swept away by strong currents and rapids. There were countless questions running through my mind. There was a lot of information on the internet, but it seemed fragmented and incomplete for me. I had no idea how to make sense of all this information as well as connect all the pieces together. All this time, I kept on asking myself: "How can I make some real money from investing in cryptocurrencies?". I felt like a beggar trying to get out of poverty and into wealth. I went from one website to another, from one book on cryptocurrency investment to another, from one seminar on how to make money with cryptocurrencies to another in hopes of finding the answer. But still no luck...
It was after this fruitless attempt that I realized I had to first put a solid foundation on what I was going to build upon. I had to build a strong base before going further and this is where the journey began. I discovered that the best place to start is at the very beginning.
