So there is always something to write about.These stories are mainly fiction fictionized truth, I'll call them. They were written against grain, you might say, for I am not a fiction writer.Yet, my writing teacher always maintained that, opposed to nonfiction, fiction was FREEDOM. Coupled with imagination, anything can happen. Points can be made, truth more clearly defined. So I wrote them for her and she said, Indeed, you have proven my point. They are old stories, but the truths they tell, I'm hoping will never be old.

About the Author: Mary Bucy Ricketson (Mrs. Frank H., III) is a native Kansan who now lives in Boulder, Colorado.
