This G+ quality book was copyrighted in 1906 and published by the Mershon Company; it is 7-3/8" tall with 280 numbered pages of text followed by 2 unnumbered pages of ads. This book--one-piece medium blue binding with ivory lettering--has a slight lean, is reasonably clean, free of edge dings with all four corners lightly bumped; the head and heel of the spine are very lightly bumped, with color loss at both places and very short tears at the spine. The bottom edges have a moderate amount of wear. Though clean, the exterior has a great deal of wear, with a well-worn spine that has 3 small semi-circular holes punched in it to a front panel illustration that is missing about 20% of its paint. Except for a crayon scribble on the back of the illustration on page 162, the interior is completely free of other writing, stray marks and page damage of any type; several pages have small and non-intrusive stains. Both hinges are reasonably strong and undamaged. The text paper is modestly and uniformly toned and is still flexible and not brittle. The frontis plus 3, all on coated paper, are present and intact.
