The island feeds on power. On magic. On hope.
Derchin has been its prisoner long enough to forget what freedom tastes like. A siren who cannot touch the sea, a succubus starving in isolation — she has survived on spite alone.
Then a vampire washes ashore with his wolf, and everything changes. He offers her a way out. She offers him something far more dangerous: herself.
But freedom has a price, and the path home is paved with old enemies, older debts, and a hunger that can never truly be sated.
