Suddenly, she isn't just checking in weary travellers. She's herding: A Roman Legionnaire with a penchant for biscuits and military salutes.A Victorian Widow who finds the motel's decor "positively subterranean".A Cyborg Assassin from the year 3044 who thinks the waffle maker is a threat.A Fourteenth Century Plague Physician with a beak and leeches. With a ruthless corporate auditor arriving for a surprise 7 AM inspection, Stella has three hours to hide the chronal anomalies, fix the fabric of reality, and ensure the premium sausages are sizzling. In the service industry, the customer is always right-even if they're from a different century. The Crown & Anchor Motor Lodge is perfect for fans of Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, and anyone who has ever survived a shift in hospitality.
