Item description from seller

A Fine copy. Publisher's blue paper wrappers. With two additional pieces of promotional ephemera - a reproduction of the first edition dust jacket design and a sheet of critical praise with the Alfred A. Knopf logo - stapled to the inside of the front cover. The Crossing was published on June 14, 1994 in a print run of 150,000 copies. All the Pretty Horses, The Crossing, and Cities of the Plain comprise the Border Trilogy, though the novels were written and published over a span of six years. Detailing the rough-riding lifestyle of its cowboy protagonists living near the United States-Mexico border, the trilogy is McCarthy at his best: All the Pretty Horses won the National Book Award in 1992 and the series has been the basis for multiple film adaptations. Fine.
