Silybum maranium, being a medicinal plant has taken the shape of noxious weed in northwest Paksitan. The instant experiments has explored the competitive ability of wheat with Silybum maranium under varying densities and different weathers. Due to higher rainfall and humidity, the growth and competitive ability of S. marianum was higher therefore it proved more competitive under such weather conditions.
