Item description from seller

Former owner's 1981 signature inside front cover. Yellow printed wrappers, 9 x 6 inches, 79 clean pp., illustrated. Very practical and effective advice for the raccoon trapper. Oscar E. Cronk, Jr. (1930-2025), b. Haynesville, Maine; d. Brunswick, Maine. An avid outdoorsman and trapper, Cronk learned the trade from several Maine old-timers, and began producing and selling his own scents in 1963. His deer lures and trapping scents became popular. He was president of the Maine Trappers Association (1964-1978) and a founding member and vice president of the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine. At the age of 77 he shot the mountain lion that is on display in the LL Bean Showroom. After 60 years in business, at the age of 91, Cronk sold his outdoor supply business to Pete Rickard of Galetan, Pennsylvania.
